VAMED
Defining the 2030 vision for a $1B+ healthcare company
Overview
VAMED is a portfolio company of publicly listed Fresenius, generating over $1 billion in annual revenue across hospital infrastructure, construction, and operations. The newly formed executive team in Germany, the company's largest market, needed a unified 2030 vision to align the independently developed strategies of its operating units. The executives were too deep in daily operations to craft a forward-looking vision themselves.
Actions
- •Conducted one-on-one interviews with each member of the executive team to build rapport and understand perspectives
- •Delivered an initial report summarizing key findings, collaboration opportunities, and misalignments
- •Facilitated multiple workshops at headquarters in Berlin to foster team cohesion and collaboratively define the holding's vision
- •Delivered a unified 2030 vision document with a change management and communication plan for rollout
Results
- •Established a cohesive 2030 vision for the holding and its operating units
- •Built empathy and trust within a newly formed executive team, improving daily collaboration
- •Shifted leadership from a tactical mindset to strategic, visionary thinking
