Overview

Freudenberg is a family-owned global technology and materials company headquartered in Weinheim, Germany. Founded in 1849, the company employs 50,000+ people across 60 countries, serving approximately 40 market segments including automotive, energy, medical, and industrial manufacturing. As part of a broader HR and leadership training program for top executives and high potentials, Freudenberg engaged us to design, coordinate, and facilitate a group relations program for 100+ members of its global leadership.

Actions

  • Designed the full program agenda and structure for a large-scale group relations engagement
  • Selected and pre-trained a group of attending executives to serve as co-facilitators alongside us, enabling effective facilitation at scale
  • Facilitated the program at a dedicated venue in Germany with 100+ participants from across the global leadership team
  • Applied the group relations method, an organizational laboratory approach that surfaces team dynamics, systemic awareness, and leadership behavior under pressure
  • Contained and managed the intense emotional and interpersonal dynamics that emerge through the process
  • Focused on developing sensitivity to organizational systems, team management complexity, individual leadership style, and self-awareness
